THANK YOU VOLUNTEERS!
Thank you to everyone who came to the Zoo last Tuesday for our Volunteer Appreciation Picnic. Although we had some Technology hiccups, none of the Volunteers seemed to mind! It was wonderful to see everyone together! I have included some quick snapshots of the event below!
We were so grateful to have multiple Staff members from all around the Zoo join us for the evening, but there were some that couldn’t make it but still wanted to send some Love your way! Unfortunately, this video couldn’t be shown at the event due to the tech issues, but i am glad that you can see it now!
Every Volunteer who came to the event received a “Goodie Bag” by way of a Fanny Pack containing a Sweet Treat, a Coupon for 40% off one item in the Gift Shop, and maybe even a surprise mini animal painting. If you were not able to make it but interested in grabbing a Fanny Pack with a few goodies inside, I still have a limited number available (please disregard the tickets as those were specific to the event). Please feel free to stop by my office on the 3rd floor of Education and pick one up while supplies last! They can be found in the metal filing cabinet behind my desk.
We also had a WONDERFUL Gi-Raffle filled with painting, BTS Experiences and even one of a kind pieces. I know there were quite a few Volunteers who were not able to make it to the event and I wanted to ensure everyone had a chance to win a Raffle Prize. The painting below is from Rozi, our wonderfully sweet little Cheetah! This was painted specifically for this event for one lucky volunteer! I put everyone’s name in a random generator to pick a winner! Scroll down to see the winner!
