Brittany Update:
Mask Policy Update:
- Masks are required in the Education Building at all times, KN95 masks are preferred by the Education Team. Please feel free to talk with your team and discuss the idea of moving roll call updates outside if you team is uncomfortable wearing masks in the building.
7th & 8th Grade/Teens joining the Ambassador Teams:
- 7th & 8th grade campers will be joining the Ambassadors on Tuesday and Wednesdays until the first week of August. They meet the Ambassadors outside the Education Building at 9:30am and join them in the habitat until about 10:15am. Thank you to the Tuesday and Wednesday teams for welcoming these kiddos to the team.
- Teens are joining the Ambassadors in Gorilla World every Friday from 10:00am-11:00am. Thank you to the Friday team for welcoming and building in to this group! They are excited to be a part of the team.
INSPIRED Interpretation Trainings:
- I want to thank everyone who attended the Ambassador Training Sessions, I had a lot of fun seeing so many of you and interacting with all of you. I am working on Documentation to give out to the individuals that were not able to attend the sessions. This should be available by next week.
Upcoming Brown Bags:

- All Ambassadors are welcome

- This talk is specifically for Volunteer Ambassadors and will be covering the conservation organizations connected to the habitats we work in. While it is not mandatory to attend the event in person on the scheduled date, it is mandatory that you watch the presentation. I will be recording the session and will make it available to the Ambassadors.
- If you cannot access the video at your home, I am happy to make arrangements to get a room here at the Zoo and set it up for you to watch.

I have sent e-mails to the Keepers in each area to give them an update on us and see if there is any information they would like to add. As I hear additional information I will update all of you.

Africa
Zoey the giraffe has a minor hoof problem and was kept in the barn last week. The giraffe team is hoping to have her back out on exhibit as soon as possible.

Miscellaneous Animal Information:
- Flamingos are back on exhibit full time and they are already nesting, eggs are being laid
- Red Crowned Cranes are still off exhibit and have 3 eggs they are incubating
- Both of our new tigers are adjusting to their new habitat and will have access to their outdoor areas.
