Hello Zoo Family!
Our very own Andie Haugen from the Cat Ambassador Program was selected as one of the 10 finalists for AZA’s “Find Our Heroes” Campaign! We need your help to vote for Andie. Voting is on the AZA page at: https://www.aza.org/heroes (scroll to the bottom of the page to vote) and voting goes until September 12th.
If you are not familiar with Andie she has been with the CAP team for a little over a year. She came to us last year from Fort Worth Zoo where she was an Animal Outreach Specialist, working with a variety of ambassador animals. Andie has also traveled around the globe working in China, Thailand, and South Africa to study conservation and rehab.
She has been a great addition to our crew and continues to be an amazing ambassador for our zoo. We are behind in the votes so we have some catch up to do. Please vote and share with family and friends so Andie can sprint past the other contestants 😊
