Feeling Grateful and looking for a new way to be generous to our Zoo-Community?
Thanksgiving is right around the corner so our friends from Avondale Community Council (ACC) are raising funds for Kroger gift cards for about 200 families from our local elementary schools – Rockdale Academy, South Avondale, and ReGeneration.
Between Zoo staff and volunteers, our friends & families, partners, vendors, along with ACC’s network of community supporters we hope to help fill the Thanksgiving tables for our neighbors. If you are in a place to give, ANY donation amount is appreciated!
The giving window is from NOW through Friday Nov 15 which gives ACC time to order gift cards and distribute the week before Thanksgiving.
There are two ways to donate:
- Purchasing will collect cash and checks. Cash in an envelope labeled ACC Thanksgiving 2024 and checks payable to Avondale Community Council with ACC Thanksgiving 2024 in the memo line can be dropped in the grey drop box to the right of the door as you enter the mailroom. There are envelopes and a pen available by the box.
- Paypal ACC directly here or the QR code below. To be sure your donation is routed correctly, please enter ACC Thanksgiving 2024 in the “Write a note (Optional)” field.
