Tosh’s Horticulture Shoutout

For the past two weeks our wonderful Garden Volunteers have been weeding, cutting back, and mulching the Rain Garden by the Education Building. The Rain Garden is full of Native Plant! If you have time, take a walk through the rain garden and check out all the beautiful blooms and pollinators!

We have also been working hard to grow, plant, and mulch over 50,000 annuals for our display beds.  This year, we will showcase over 700 different varieties of annual plants throughout the gardens and at Rockdale.  Our outstanding Horticulture Volunteers help with each part of this process and we couldn’t do it without them!
