The Picnic Shelters are booked for our Volunteer Celebration Picnic in the Fall! Make sure to mark your calendars! Information and the RSVP link will be sent to all active volunteers (50hrs/yr) 4-6 weeks prior to the event!
Summer Fun Events
We have decided to bring back the After-Hours Summer Fun Events again this year! These events are exclusively for Volunteers and held on grounds after the Zoo is closed for visitors. Each of the events gives you an opportunity to see the grounds in a new and unique way. The tours, along with the dates and times are listed below. Each volunteer will be able to sign up for 1 event this summer!

Jane Goodall, Reasons For Hope Omnimax Film
In February of this year I brought my family to see the Jane Goodall – Reasons for Hope film at the Omnimax theater in Cincinnati Museum Center. I was so moved by the film, that I knew I wanted to find a way to share it with as many people as I could. Unfortunately, the screening ended later that month for the public. BUT… after many phone calls, e-mails and calling in some favors we were able to arrange some private showings for volunteers and staff at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden!
