Greetings Folks!
Come join us this Saturday, February 8th at The Wood Bar in Norwood to raise much-needed funding for our native trumpeter swans! The Wood Bar is donating 25% of all sales for the ENTIRE DAY Saturday, so stop in anytime from 2 pm-2:30 am to help out Ohio’s largest waterfowl!
100% of the funds raised on Saturday will aid a study through Ohio Department of Natural Resources to monitor our swans with GPS collars to find out where these birds are going and how they are utilizing their habitat, leading to better and more informed management decisions in the future!
Aimee Owen will also be selling some “swan swag” out and about in the zoo for the next week or so to throw into the pot for the fundraiser, so stay tuned for more updates on what items will be for sale and prices!
So mark your calendars for this Saturday (February 8th) and come join us to drink a few brews and celebrate swans, just like our residents at the aptly-named Swan Lake, Sandler & Elizabeth!
