Volunteer Appreciation Week _ Day 5

A Big Thank You on behalf of our Visitors

Ambassadors

CZBG has receives so many compliments on the Volunteers stationed in animal areas.  Their engaging interpretation is one of the things that makes our Zoo EXTRA special!!

Wild Encounters Volunteer Ambassadors

It is no “stretch” to say that our WE Ambassadors are marvelous.  You can find them interpreting in our Giraffe, Roo and Goat yards, among other places.

Habitat Ambassadors

Formerly the Volunteer Educators, this resilient and dedicated group engages with our visitors in all the best ways.  They are currently found roaming through Africa, Elephant and Gorilla World spreading the message of co-existence and helping visitors find ways to carry the Zoo’s conservation mission all the way home!

Education

Volunteer Education Aides are the perfect addition to our Summer Camps.  A sea of kiddos can be overwhelming but the extra one on one care provided by our fabulous Education Volunteers is unmatched.  We also can’t move forward without giving a shout out to the Volunteers behind the scenes who spend hours sorting and preparing for the Camps!

Event Volunteers

Have you attended one of the many events hosted by the Zoo?  Chances are the smiling face serving you a beverage or handing out treats at a treat station was one of our Fun-Loving Event Volunteers.

Volunteer Photographers

Last but Certainly not least, the Volunteer group that makes sure you can enjoy all the Zoo has to offer even when you are not able to come to the zoo in person. They never lose focus and always snap the perfect photos!

Our Visitor-Facing Volunteers are so ENGAGING!!
