“A key part of the Zoo’s mission is to make the Zoo accessible for all,” said Cincinnati Zoo Director Thane Maynard.  “The special $1 admission price allows thousands of people who might not normally be able to afford a Zoo visit to enjoy everything we have to offer plus live performances, crafts, and opportunities to learn about different cultures.”

Getting to the Zoo for this event will even be more fun and less expensive than usual with Metro offering free entertainment and $1 round-trip fare on Route 46! Those who drive should allow extra time for parking.  Attendance is traditionally high for the festival.

The event starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m.  Members and Zoo Adventure Ticket holders (specially priced at $10 for the event) may enter the Zoo an hour early, at 9 a.m.  Attendance supports Learning Through Art’s Childhood Literacy Programs via Read to Me!
